Jussie Smollett Guilty
Jussie Smollett’s conviction for lying to police about a racist, homophobic attack, still has me scratching my head. He’s embarrassed his family and waisted precious police recourses. Instead, he could have donated money to organizations to further causes that de-escalate police violence. He however, took advantage of a sensitive period of unrest. Where he goes from here remains to be seen. In my opinion, he should take “a seat”, get therapy for a while, disappear from the public, then slowly reintegrate. If he has an acting career after this, remains to be seen.
