Historically, the black community has taken advantage of Life Insurance but, the community has been known to be discriminated against regarding the amount of coverage one can receive. History has proven that prominent families like the Rockefellers, JP Morgan Chase, and many alike have used Life Insurance to fund trust funds and create a cycle of wealth building in their families. The Black community has been subject to a limited amount of coverage scarcely allowing for death expenses to be covered, with zero ounces of probable inheritance. Presently, because of these actions, we are left with generations of black community members whose legacies are not mourned but instead, used as a charity case to properly bury them.
